Descrição do gênero memorando: condições de produção e estrutura.

Abstract

In this study we sought in the light of gender analysis of the socio-discursive interactionism line, led by Jean-Paul Bronckart, describing the memo genre. noting their production, their use and their thematic components and text linguistics. For the analysis of gender memo, we primarily used as a reference the general principies of the proposed theories by Bakhtin (1979/2010), Bronckart (2003) and Marcuschi (2005). Secondly, we observed the specifics of the memo genre, according to Bazerman (2005) and Silveira (2005) and handbooks in the Federal Public Serv ice, and finally, we present the characteristics of the institution that gave this study: the management of the INSS in Campina Grande. In this institution we selected 21 copies of memos, which were analyzed in their aspects: thematic, compositional and linguistic. These results confirm the principies of the Bakhtinian imstable equilibrium and the influence of the Bronckartian production conditions. It was confirmed the pairing of the genre to social and technological changes. It was proved the heterogeneity of communicative purposes and the compositional and thematic elements of the memos, but it also proved the consistency of bureaucratic language, sometimes persuasively, and the recurrence of elements: destination, origin and number. It is concluded that the study of the gender of administrative communication presents itself as a productive path for future research, including why, this paper points out the lack of studies in this area.
