Análise ambiental e econômica do uso de madeira tratada perante o desenvolvimento sustentável.

Abstract

Over the past few years due to limited availability of natural resources and the growing cadres of deforestation of native forests, companies started to make their economic choices focusing on environmental preservation. In this context, this paper has in order to analyze the feasibility in economic and environmental dimensions of the use of treated wood, which are reforested wood what to pass through the treatment process have greater durability and strength, replacing the use of native woods, whose renewal is slow and characterized as a limited resource of nature. In order to achieve this goal, first if did a literature review to gain greater insight and information on the subject, and then immediately if held an interview with a semi-structured questionnaire with different social actors, being an environmentalist, a technician and a private company. From these considerations,analyzed if that treated wood met the requirements of sustainable development, and can therefore be considered a sustainable product.
