Análise do sistema de transporte de grãos no Estado de Pernambuco.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to evaluate the traffic conditions and the seeds cargo transportation infrastructure used to supply the needs of the state of Pernambuco in Brazil, with the purpose of aiding the decision makers about production, production, consumption, import, storage and transportation of rice, bean, corn, soy and wheat seeds. The results, pointed out the necessity of using logistics to make cheaper the seeds' traffic. So it seems necessary to implant an efficient structure of seeds' provisioning, by building silos in the farms to storage the production surpluses in the crop time and o storage the seeds that has been imported when it's not crop time. It still presents recommendations to the responsible persons for the nutritious provisioning of the population from Pernambuco about how they should use the tools of logistics to reduce the displacements of essential victuals for the human consumption and also, to decrease the final costs of the products.
