dc.description.resumo	Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o crescimento e a qualidade de plantas jovens de faveleira condições variáveis de intensidade luminosa, na fase de viveiro, durante as estações seca e chuvosa. Os tratamentos foram dispostos em esquema fatorial 4x2, com quatro níveis de sombreamento (0; 30; 50 e 70% da luminosidade) e duas épocas de plantio (período seco e chuvoso), durante 75 dias. A produção de mudas durante o período chuvoso, e os tratamentos de luz e a pleno sol e 30% de sombreamento proporcionaram os melhores resultados nos componentes de crescimento e qualidade de mudas. Os níveis de 50 e 70% de sombreamento não são recomendados para a produção de mudas de faveleira. O diâmetro do caule, a relação altura da parte aérea/diâmetro e o Índice de Qualidade de Dickson devem ser considerados para avaliação da qualidade das mudas	pt_BR

dc.description.abstract	This work had the objective to evaluate early and quality of Cnidoscolus phyllacanthus plants submitted of various light intensities conditions, in nursery, during dry and rainy seasons. The treatments were distributed in 4x2 factorial scheme, with four shading levels (0; 30; 50 and 70% of light) and two periods of planting (dry and rainy seasons), during 75 days. The production of young plants during rainy season, full sunlight and 30% of shading treatments provided the best values in growth components and young plants quality.
