As imagens ocultas da ditadura: os registros fotográficos não publicados de profissionais da imprensa campinense, da década de 60 aos anos de abertura.

Abstract

The article is based on an exploratory research about the unpublished imagetical registers, made by photojournalists on the 1960’s, when the dictatorial period happened. Simultaneously, a research about relevant aspects of Campina Grande’s history, especially about censorship, was made. According to bibliographical data, interviews and pictures, we can realize that even nowadays, 24 years after this historical period, there are too many difficulties to find documents and all kinds of materials related to it, especially the unpublished ones. However, the access to Nicolau de Castro picture’s archive brought to this article some important registers that were censured and not published during dictature.
