Segurança no trabalho em agroindústria: a percepção dos trabalhadores de chão de fábrica de um laticínio em Sousa – PB.

Abstract

Brazil is the fourth nation in the world to record the most accidents during work activities, behind only China, India and Indonesia. These accidents caused by unsafe acts or by improper conditions. The general objective of this research was to raise the perceptions of the internal collaborators of an agroindustry of the dairy sector regarding work safety. The literature review has developed historical look at the issue of work and walks the current notions of work. Regarding the methodology, this research delineated as exploratory, descriptive and field, with quantitative approach. The safety and health of workers are crucial issues for the success of agribusinesses. In the company studied, employees' perceptions, in general terms, are positive regarding management, direct management, responsibilities and the work environment, as well as PPE. However, when researching subordination subjects, there is always a doubt about the sincerity of the answers offered by the respondents.
