| Abstract: | The present work aimed to discuss the growth of the workers' and people's movement in the Zona da Mata of Pernambuco, in the context of 1955-64, trying to understand the bases on which this growth is based, as well as its relationship with the agrarian reform proposal, in the the sense that it was at the same time a powerful factor for the development of the organization of agricultural workers, also posed several contradictions within the political struggle in this given context. |
