Arrendamento e capitalismo (um estudo sobre a subsunção do trabalho ao capital).

Abstract

The Brazilian agrarian reality has constituted for some time, especially since the 60's, the object of interest of scholars of the most varied areas of social sciences. Among the works resulting from research in this field, the scientific production of sociologists focused on Brazilian agriculture has shown to be one of the most profitable. Still within this assertion, the studies that have as object the called small production has provided a vast material for the interpretation of the most diverse theoretical lines. This is how an already numerous production of works has been written on the small production. I dare to think, however, that this subject is far from being exhausted. On the other hand, a large part of these studies return the problematic of the capitalist character of agriculture in the country and in this line of reasoning, therefore, I propose, as a sociologist, to elaborate the present work. I believe that I contribute in some way to a better understanding of the Brazilian agrarian reality and, even more, to the transformation of this reality.
