| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O presente trabalho tem como objeto de estudo o caso da “Cruz da Menina” em Pombal-PB, considerando as crenças em torno dela e sua forte representatividade enquanto crença para alguns indivíduos que vivem na cidade. O principal objetivo desta pesquisa, é o de evidenciar a importância do Patrimônio Imaterial para a cultura daquela localidade, ou seja, como a fé em torno da menina que foi assassinada e hoje é representada pela cruz, faz parte do imaginário de algumas pessoas, bem como o inverso da questão, isto é, em que medida a história da Cruz da Menina não chega a ser conhecida e nem valorizada por outra parte da população. A principal metodologia utilizada foi a história oral, onde, através de entrevistas realizadas, foi possível, após uma discussão teórica do tema, interliga-las de maneira historiográfica com os aspectos patrimoniais e culturais, sobretudo em torno da religiosidade popular. |
| Abstract: | The object of this study is the case of the "Cruz da menina" in Pombal-PB, considering the beliefs surrounding it and its strong representativeness as a belief for some individuals who live in the city. The main objective of this research is to highlight the importance of Intangible Heritage for the culture of that locality, in other words, how the faith surrounding the girl who was murdered and today is represented by the cross, is part of the imagination of some people, as well as the inverse of the question, that is, to what extent the story of Cruz da Menina is neither known nor valued by another part of the population. The main methodology used was oral history, where, after a theoretical discussion of the subject, it was possible to link interviews in a historiographical way with heritage and cultural aspects, especially around popular religiosity. |
