| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O processo político desencadeado com o fim da II Guerra Mundial possibilitou ares de democracia à sociedade brasileira. “Redemocratizado” o país, imediatamente as forças da esquerda brasileira começaram a se reestruturar em torno do PCB, completando o cenário político brasileiro na luta pelo poder. Nesse sentido, na Paraíba, o processo eleitoral advindo ensejou o embate de forças pela manutenção do poder por parte do governo e de sua conquista por parte de seus oponentes comunistas. É sobre este período que pretendemos evidenciar como o governo utilizou os jornais A União e A Imprensa como instrumentos de poder simbólico. |
| Abstract: | The politic process unchained with the end of the Second World War made possible airs of democracy to the Brazilian society. Immediately after the country was “Redemocratized”, the forces of the Brazilian left started to reorganize around the PCB (The Brazilian Communist Party), completing the Brazilian politic scene in the fight for power. In this direction, in the Brazilian state of Paraíba, in the ensuing electoral process, there was a clash of forces for the maintenance of the power on the government side and of the conquering of the process by the communist opponents. It is about this period that we intend to give evidence of the government use of the periodicals A união and A Imprensa as tools of symbolic power. |
