Da tirinha à notícia: uma proposta de retextualização aplicável ao 7º ano do ensino fundamental.

Abstract

Retextualization is the process of transforming one text into another, present in various communicative contexts of everyday life, and, in this sense, productive for working with reading and writing in Basic Education classrooms. In this direction, this research aims to build a proposal for retextualizing the comic strip genre into the news genre, applicable to the 7th grade of Elementary School. To achieve this, we discuss the processes of retextualization; elaborate on the comic strip and news genres; and develop a workshop with the proposal of retextualizing comic strips into news, applicable to the 7th Grade of Elementary School. This is an applied research with a qualitative approach. In the process of conducting this study, we base our discussions on the studies of retextualization by Dell'Isola (2007) and Marcuschi (2010); on Discursive/Textual Genres by Bakhtin (2003) and Marcuschi (2005); on comics in Ramos (2009-2016), in addition to considering the legal documents of Basic Education in the country such as the National Curriculum Parameters (PCN) and the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC). As results of the research, we elucidate the potential of retextualizing comic strips into news as promising to awaken students' interest in reading and textual production, making the learning process more stimulating and effective. Additionally, another result was the production of a workshop on retextualization applicable to the 7th grade of Elementary School.
