dc.description.abstractWe exhibit a general static spherically symmetric solution of the Brans-Dicke vacuum field equations, which is valid in the weak field approximation. From this solution, we investigated the Newtonian limit obtaining general expressions for gravitational force and the corresponding potential. In addition, we obtain the metric solution for a ”Yukawa” radial coordinate.pt_BR
