Análise da rede de proteção à criança e adolescente no município de Paulista – PB diante do contexto neoliberal.

Abstract

Policies to protect children and adolescents have been strongly harmed due to the impacts of neoliberal policy, implemented in Brazil since the 1990s. The child and youth protection network is responsible for ensure that such protection is fully developed through policies social networks, however, due to neoliberal policies, this network has developed from fragmented and welfare actions. In this way, the This study aims to analyze the child protection network and adolescents in the city of Paulista-PB, and discuss their limits and perspectives through the following specific objectives: Know the history of protection of children and adolescents in Brazil; Know and reflect on the challenges posed by neoliberal policy in implementing the protection policy child and teenager; and identify the strategies used by the reference focused on networking. To construct the study, a a survey with professionals from the municipality's social assistance and child protection policy, using a semi-structured questionnaire, whose analysis took place through the critical-dialectic method characterized by a qualitative approach. Through interviews with the research subjects, it was found that the research teams reference present difficulties in developing actions to protect the children and youth, among them: training and appreciation of professionals; dialogue between reference teams.
