Abstract

This work refers to the curricular internship developed by the student Gustavo Rodrigues de Sousa of the Electrical Engineering undergraduate course of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) at the Alcides Carneiro University Hospital (HUAC), part of the EBSERH network, from February 19, 2024 to May 14, 2024, with a workload of 30 hours per week, 15 hours in person and 15 hours in the home office format, totaling a workload of 360 hours. During the internship period, the student participated in the preparation of electrical projects for new installations and expansions, mapped old electrical installations in certain blocks of the hospital that require modernization (retrofit) and monitored the execution of works, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards. The internship was carried out in the infrastructure sector of HUAC and was supervised by electrical engineer Emanoel Leite da Silva and advised by professor Pablo Bezerra Vilar.
