Abstract

This internship report addresses the activities carried out during the internship period, which mainly consisted of analyzing the needs and challenges faced by the Metrology Laboratory (LabMet) in complying with the IEC 61000-4-3 standard, which refers to elec- tromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electrical and electronic equipment. The investigation included a detailed assessment of the equipment available in the laboratory, highlighting the importance of an appropriately structured testing environment to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results. During the internship, some important gaps were identified, such as the absence of adapters for isotropic sensors and the need for a camera for monitoring in the semi-anechoic chamber. Additionally, technical issues with the spectrum analyzer were observed, affecting the laboratory’s ability to perform tests in an integrated manner.
