dc.description.resumoCom o objetivo de avaliar o efeito de sistemas de resfriamento evaporativo como melhoria das condições térmicas ambientais em galpões para frangos de corte, foi desenvolvido um experimento no período de 02 a 28 de fevereiro de 1996, em galpão avícola, dividido em quatro partes iguais. Os tratamentos utilizados foram: ventilador associado a nebulização, ventilador de alta rotação associado a nebulização, nebulização e ventilador acoplado ao nebulizador. Foram calculados o índice de temperatura de globo e umidade, a carga térmica radiante e a umidade relativa do ar. Os resultados demonstraram que o sistema de resfriamento evaporativo com ventilador de alta rotação associado a nebulização proporcionaram as melhores condições térmicas ambientais para os frangos.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractThis experiment was carried out from February 2nd to February 28th, 1996. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the evaporative cooling systems on the improvement of chicken house thermal condition. The building was divided in four equal sectors. The treatments consisted of a ventilator and spraying system, high rotation ventilator and spraying system, spraying system, and ventilator connected to the sprayer. The globe temperature and humidity index, radiant heat load, relative air humidity were calculated. The results showed that the evaporative cooling system with a high rotation ventilator and spraying system presented the best thermal conditions for the chickens.pt_BR
