| Abstract: | This work presents the algorithm of the globally convergent exact penalty function, based on the works of Colemann & Conn (1982a) and (1982b), which is intended to solve the general problem of mathematical programming. The work contains the numerical results of tests made with various problems representing different levels of difficulty, including the optimal load flow problem associated with the 23-bar power system. |
