Caracterização das zonas lacustre, transição e fluvial, em um braço do reservatório de Itaipu.

Abstract

The objective of that work was to know the characteristics abiotic of the passage of the river São Francisco Verdadeiro that it will allow the characterization of the analyzed segments. Each area presents a differentiated behavior as for the characteristics abiotic that you/they were analyzed monthly of September from 2002 to August of 2003 divided in six sampling stations (A,B,C,D,e F). The parameters: dissolved oxygen, temperature of the water, pH, electric conductivity and turbidez were collected and sumarizados through one analyzes of main components PCA in the intention of analyzing possible differences among the factors in the analyzed stations. Two axes were kept for interpretation, the first axis (PC1) it presented eigenvalue of 1,84 and it explained 36,8%,of the variability of the data and the variables that more contributed to the formation of this axis were the temperature of the water, pH and electric conductivity (with negative eigenvectors) and positively the dissolved oxygen. In the second axis (PC2), with eigenvalue of 1,19, the contribution was positive through the turbidez, and negatively for pH, explaining 23,8%of the variability of the data . The studied river, in the area would intermediate (C and D) it demonstrated larger gradient in the components abiotic that you are indicative of contribution of material alocton, that promote the eutrophization. in excessive amounts, making unfeasible the multiple use of the reservoir.
