| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O objetivo do presente trabalho é discutir sobre as políticas públicas de combate ao analfabetismo no município de Serra Branca-PB. O artigo apresenta essa discussão no município de Serra Branca, que fica localizado no Cariri da Paraíba. As análises das estatísticas sobre analfabetismo foram feitas no referido município, por meio de interpretações dos resultados das últimas pesquisas feitas pelo Censo do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) nos anos de 1991, 2000 e 2010 e por pesquisas bibliográficas. O interesse pelo tema deu-se através da percepção dos desafios e dificuldades que as pessoas analfabetas encontram de se inserir na vida social, nas atividades intelectuais, interpessoais e por ter dificuldades na compreensão da realidade na qual o individuo está inserido. Sendo assim, questiona-se: será que as políticas públicas de combate ao analfabetismo, está tirando, realmente, o indivíduo da condição de analfabeto? |
| Abstract: | The objective of this work is to discuss public policies to combat illiteracy in the municipality of Serra Branca-PB. The article presents this discussion in the municipality of Serra Branca, which is located in Cariri da Paraíba. The analyzes of the statistics on illiteracy were carried out in the city, through interpretations of the results of the last surveys carried out by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) in the years 1991, 2000 and 2010 and by bibliographical researches. The interest for the theme was through the perception of the challenges and difficulties that the illiterate people find to be inserted in the social life, in the intellectual activities, interpersonal and for having difficulties in understanding the reality in which the individual is inserted. Thus, it is questioned: is the public policies to combat illiteracy, really, really making the individual illiterate? |
