Triunfo da fé: a Festa do Menino Deus como uma memória cultural triunfense.

Abstract

The objective of this work is to investigate the Feast of the Child God, in the city of Triunfo, Paraiba, highlighting its dimension of religiosity and tradition, in order to understand a cultural memory of the municipality. It is a pertinent and socially relevant subject in the sense of proposing a discussion about the principles that historically contributed and contribute to the formation of the identity of each native of Triunfo. Thus, from the theoretical point of view, we work with the notion of cultural memory. The methods used for the preparation of this work are based on bibliographical surveys, having as reference books, magazines and related websites, as well as interviews with local residents, who are familiar with the history of the city of Triunfo, Paraiba.
