???metadata.dc.description.resumo???:	a) 0 governo brasileiro, antes de decidir sobre a proibição da pesca da baleia em nosso território, devera estar consciente de que se as demais nações capturadoras adotarão a mesma medida; b) As autoridades governamentais devem tomar providências urgentes no sentido de intensificar a pesquisa de atum na área, a fim de que se já definida sua potencialidade econômica 125 e, de imediato, incorporar a COPESBRA ou outra empresa que venha se interessar na exploração de tal atividade como uma das alternativas que possam assegurar oferta de empregos caso seja suspensa a pesca da baleia;c) Devido ao fato de a população do município apresentar vocação para a atividade pesqueira, a SUDEPE conjuntamente com os órgãos estaduais, devem estudar a possibilidade de dinamizar esse setor, de forma tal que estimule e recompense os Pescadores do município. E, em assim sendo, criar a condições de absorver uma parcela significativa da mão-de-obra passível de ser liberada com o encerramento da atividade baleeira; d) Para salvaguardar os interesses da população lucenense, caso se concretize a suspensão da pesca da baleia, o governo deve procurar soluções junto a COPESBRA para que a mesma possa utilizar seus equipamentos em outras atividades desde que assegure a manutenção da mão-de-obra sujeita a dispensa com o previsto encerramento das atuais atividades; e) Entre outras, podemos sugerir que os órgãos especializados do governo devem verificar se a estrutura fundiária do município permite implementar um programa de desenvolvimento rural integrado, que possibilite abrir novas oportunidades de empregos para a população do município; f ) Finalmente, sugerimos as autoridades governamentais para que, se por ventura for assegurada a atividade de captura 126 e aproveitamento da baleia em mar brasileiro, devem ser mantidos entendimentos com a direção da Companhia para que a mesma intensifique uma campanha de esclarecimento junto a população, particularmente a da área, a fim de que passe a consumir maior quantidade dos produtos gerados da baleia, em princípio aqueles que são orientados para o mercado externo, os quais, segundo ficou constatado, a exportação atinge atualmente cerca de 12%, do total produzido.
Abstract:	a) The Brazilian government, before deciding on the ban on whaling in our territory, should be aware that if the other capturing nations adopt the same measure; b) Government authorities must take urgent measures to intensify tuna research in the area, so that if they have already defined their economic potential, 125 and immediately incorporate COPESBRA or another company that is interested in the exploitation of such c) Due to the fact that the population of the municipality has a vocation for the fishing activity, SUDEPE together with the state agencies, should study the possibility of dynamizing this sector, in a way that stimulates and rewards the fishermen of the municipality. And, as such, create the conditions to absorb a significant portion of the workforce that can be released with the closure of the whaling activity; d) In order to safeguard the interests of the people of Lucena, if the suspension of whaling is made, the government should seek solutions from COPESBRA so that it can use its equipment in other activities as long as it ensures the maintenance of the workforce subject to dismissal with the expected closure of the current activities; e) Among others, we can suggest that specialized government agencies should verify that the municipality's land structure allows the implementation of an integrated rural development program, which opens up new employment opportunities for the population of the municipality; f) Finally, we suggest that the government authorities ensure that, if it is possible to ensure the capture and use of the whale in the Brazilian sea, understandings must be maintained with the Company's management so that it intensifies a campaign of clarification with the population , particularly that of the area, in order to consume more of the products generated from the whale, in principle those that are oriented to the foreign market, which, it was verified, the export currently reaches about 12% of the total produced.
