Pedagogia hospitalar: o caso do hospital universitário Bandeira de Cajazeiras-PB.

Abstract

The object of study of this research is the Hospital Pedagogy. In this work of Course (TCC) we propose to investigate the contribution of Pedagogy in hospitals. It has the objective to analyze the role of pedagogy in the context of the University Hospital Júlio Bandeira (HUJB) in Cajazeiras - PB, from the Project: "Integration teaching and service in the humanization of care to hospitalized children and adolescents." And specific objectives: to characterize the Hospital Pedagogy; investigate the possible contributions of Pedagogy in humanizing practice in HUJB, and also reflect on the dialogue between the course subjects of Pedagogy and the work of the pedagogue in hospitals. As for the methodological approach this began through a literature review, the next step was a case study at the university hospital. The participants in this study were some of the children treated at HUJB (during the term of the extension project) and his companions. The approach was the qualitative type. As for the results the theoretical study allowed us to understand that the Hospital Pedagogy is the child rights consolidation and adolescent education. The experience of educational practices in HUJB came ratify that pedagogy as a science has much to contribute to the development of the human person in any context in which it is found, even in the hospital. Pedagogy has as its contribution to the humanization process of the integration of new knowledge and practices in pursuit of a common good which is the recovery of the patient. Each activity carried out in the hospital had a humanizing character. Participation in PROBEX / 2015 allowed us to ensure that there is a humanizing practice in hospitals is necessary that this premise is part of the philosophy of the institution, and also that there is determination and support from the management team. In the case of HUJB, it was possible to know the efforts that are undertaken in the pursuit of a humanized hospital practice.
