Criação do sistema SIBE – Sistema de Informação para Base de Estágio da Unidade Acadêmica de Engenharia de Produção (UAEP).

Abstract

This course conclusion work was subject to information management. Nowadays the use of technology is growing exponentially and consequently the availability of softwares that allow the automation of activities becomes increasingly common. Therefore, a bibliographic study in information management and database was made through books, articles and websites. It was observed the need for softwares in the internship sector of the Academic Unit of Production Engineering – UAEP of the Sustainable Development Center of Semiárido –CDSA to process automation. The use of these tools will contribute to the quality of services provided to students of Production Engineering. For this purpose, it was created the Information Internship Base System, the SIBE, through the Microsoft MS Access 2007 software, where the system user will enter all the student’s data enrolled in internship, register companies and supervisors or export only these Excel data into the SIBE, and record the supervisor’s and reports’ data. The StarUML tool was also used in order to present the interactions between objects within the SIBE system and the UFCG’s enrollment system.
