Um estudo sobre o consumo de bebidas alcoólicas entre adolescentes.

Abstract

Alcohol is a legal drug, easy access to all sections of society and part of our culture. However, when ingested improperly, cause a lot of damage to both the individual and for society. Studies show that young people are ingesting alcoholic beverages at an earlier age. Considering this context, this study aims to identify the relationship of adolescents with alcohol consumption in the municipality of Sumé - PB. The current study is an exploratory research with quantitative and qualitative approach. As methodological tool for data collection a questionnaire with open and closed questions was used concerning the problem studied. The survey was conducted with adolescent high school students from public schools in the municipality of Sumé-PB, State School of Elementary and Secondary Education Professor José Gonçalves de Queiroz. The survey revealed that the age of onset of alcohol consumption among young people is minimal. The consumption occurs by itself and / or encouraged by friends or family enterprise. Furthermore, the survey results are intended as elements for the formulation of public policies for children and youth, especially in problematic social vulnerability to alcohol consumption.
