Análise de investimento: estudo de caso da empresa GDL Bezerra Comércio e Serviço em Alumínio Ltda.

Abstract

This report addresses a search on Investment Analysis in the company GDL Bezerra and Trade Office in the city of Fortaleza - CE, regarding the decision in the project, selection of alternatives for expansion, retraction or modification of business. To that end, the text is organized into five subsequent sections, namely: Introduction, Theoretical Grounds, Procedures Methodologists, Presentation Analysis of Results and Final considerations. The research aimed to draw up a general plan for long-term investment for the company, for the period of 2009-2014, in the light of deterministic methods of evaluation of projects. As for methodology, a search was conducted exploratory in nature, quantitatively and qualitatively, consists of a search of field. The data were treated according to some deterministic methods of analysis of investments. The results showed that the company studied needs a strategic plan appropriate to facilitate the activities of internal development and grow the market in which it operates. They were given two alternatives for investments in order to meet the needs of the enterprise: Project A: Structure Reform in Physics of the Company; Project B: Expansion Project, through the opening of a branch in the city centre. From the calculations made it was found that the Project is acceptable, although not attract any direct profit over the years, but is necessary because even with the company will better meet their clients and have a working environment more fine. As for Project B, had to be quite profitable, with indicators of high profitability, information on research shows that the company GDL Bezerra and Trade Office in Aluminum will benefit from the implementation of Project B, and may even generate resources for the implementation of Project A.
