A oferta da educação infantil no Brasil e a ineficiência do poder público.

Abstract

The paper presented is a result of a literature review on the topic Early Education, where we sought to study the emergence of the thought of an education directed at children in the national context. The main objective of this work was to study the impact that public actions had to offer Early Childhood Education in Brazil, a process that interfere significantly in the space available, since municipalities have become unable to alone provide an education in the amount and quality needed by children in their respective localities. Fact intensified in the nineties (with the municipalization) for scarce resources from the Union as well as the historical lack of infrastructure of local governments. Specifically, the research was focused on the assessment of public policies focused on early childhood education, having as its firmament the Law of Directives and Bases of Education. As a result, it is watched in recent years advances formal (laws and regulations) regarding early childhood education, however, the data presented in the survey show that there is a large deficit in the provision of schools and nurseries throughout the country, a problem that should be the focus of future studies and public policy.
