"Amo-te como os anjos amam a Deus": o crime passional e a violência de gênero em Campina Grande (1890-1940).

Abstract

This dissertacao if concentrates in the analysis of the relations of sort in Campina Grande in the end of century XIX and beginning of century XX. The base of this research if constitutes in six criminal proceedings, whose purpose was to perceive as the tensions created for the historical citizens, men and women, involved for the passions and the crime, had happened during its relations of privacies daily, in an environment marked for the changes the one that passed the city in the turn of the century. This work, therefore, has as concern to problematizar (s) the way (s) as the crimes passionals, occurred between couples in Campina Grande, had been representative for the legal, medical speeches and of other citizens (police victims, authors, witnesses, authorities), as the procedural files of legal documents. Thus, this work is a passage on the daily tensions of the loving, affective and sexual relations of the campinenses citizens, that i f had launched in the dramas passionals and i f they had legitimized how much to men and women, endowed with a "honor", for which justice and the Medicine would decide to who for right, possuia. For this, we will make a rediscussao on the criminal rules of law and the occured changes of behavior in Campina Grande, as it forms essential of problematizar I tie it of the law with its historical and cultural time.
