Abstract: This work aims to identify from the teachers' perception the main difficulties faced by students with hearing impairment during elementary school I. For this purpose, as specific objectives we delimit the following: identify how the inclusion of deaf students happens in the school space; ascertain whether rights are being enforced within the institution; and finally, to determine if the teacher training prepares him or her to deal with the deaf student. In order to reach the proposed objectives, the research was oriented from the perspective of the qualitative approach. As data collection instruments we used the semi- structured interview, carried out with teachers who work in regular and specialized teaching rooms in the city of São José de Piranhas-PB. Through these instruments we seek to verify the aspects that contribute to the implementation of the teaching proposal based on the perspective of the inclusion of students with hearing impairment. In the composition of the reflections contained in this paper, we consider issues such as teacher training, the reorganization of the environment, the importance of the interpreter in the classroom, the participation of the family in the education of these children, literacy and the culture of the deaf. According to the results investigated, we realized that teachers are not prepared to teach deaf children, in addition, the teaching of pounds to teach deaf children leaves something to be desired, and also teachers do not have the help of the interpreter in the room to help in the communication between teacher and student and finally the lack of incentive of the public power to enable teachers, so that the deaf children have a quality and egalitarian education
