Macaparana-PE: a contribuição do turismo para o desenvolvimento local.

Abstract

The tourism phenomenon has been generating analyzes and studies directed to its comprehension, considering its scope and power of modification of the spaces. The main objective of this work is to identify the potential tourism resources existing in the city of Macaparana-PE, thus verifying the contribution of this activity to local development, since there is a strong potential regarding the cultural, historical and landscape heritage of the region. For such, methodological procedures were used as the bibliographical survey, searching through different authors, important definitions about the subject. As well as observation, where from it the researcher can use the senses in order to get a snapshot of the reality studied, as well as empirical knowledge of the place, for being author and native. Thus, there was the use of field research, which through a survey conducted by social networks such as: Facebook; WhatSaap and Google+, it was possible to verify how the pursuit of leisure in leisure time behaves and, as a complement, finally, the tabulation of the data obtained, reaching the conclusion that the municipality has diversified resources that can be exploited touristy, that enables the growth and socioeconomic development of the local community, as well as the preservation of culture, associated with sustainable practices. Therefore, from this work it can be seen that the existing deficiencies derive primarily from the lack of investments in the sector, as well as from a participatory community organization, with the purpose of associating the income obtained from tourism bias with the existing economic activity.
