| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | A determinação de algumas das variáveis principais que condicionam o desenvolvimento do ciclo vegetativo das culturas do Nordeste semi-árido e o seu estudo estatístico constitui a base da presente pesquisa, estabelecida para a região sertaneja do estado da Paraíba. Um modelo determinista permitiu o conhecimento do início, fim e duração do período de chuvas eficazes, baseadas na experiência e na necessidade real de água para as culturas. A natureza dessas variáveis estatísticas foi analisada pelo melhor ajustamento entre 8 distribuições normalmente aplicáveis. A de Pearson III apresentou melhores resultados. 0 trabalho ensejou a definição do início, do fim e da duração do período de chuvas para as várias localidades do sertão paraibano, bem como possibilitou descrever geograficamente a modificação daquelas variáveis. Os resultados devem fornecer aos técnicos agrícolas subsídios para o planejamento de suas atividades de campo com maior segurança. |
| Abstract: | The determination of some of the main variables that influence the development of the vegetative cycle of the semi-arid Northeast cultures and its statistical study is the basis of the present research, established for the sertaneja region of Paraíba state. A deterministic model allowed the knowledge of the beginning, end and duration of the effective rainfall period, based on experience and the actual water need for crops. The nature of these statistical variables was analyzed by the best fit between 8 normally applicable distributions. Pearson III presented better results. The work allowed the definition of the beginning, the end and the duration of the rainy season for the various locations of the Paraíba hinterland, as well as allowing to describe geographically the modification of those variables. The results should provide agricultural technicians with insights to plan their field activities more safely. |
