Análise do uso racional da água em uma indústria do município de Sousa - PB.

Abstract

Nowadays, the use of water in the rational context is considered due to the lack of rainfall that has led the industrial business population to a complex situation of difficulties arising from water scarcity. This reality causes serious problems in the agroindustrial context. Knowing the process of water use through literature review and field study in an industry in the municipality of Sousa - Paraíba provides the sensitization of multiplying agents of the agro-industrial group, through behaviors and attitudes that lead all involved decision making. Reduce water consumption and know how to use it rationally. In this context, the importance of groundwater, which in most cases is cleaner than surface water, is emphasized and does not require treatment for human consumption. Concerning the artesian well it is drilled with small diameter in great depth and the water gushes from the ground naturally because its own pressure is enough to bring it to the surface. Thus, analyzing the rational use of water in an industry in the municipality of Sousa-PB is the general objective of the research. The study is bibliographic, exploratory, descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approach. For the exposition of the research it is used the description of the results and discussion. However, it was observed that the analyzed industry makes use of rational practices as they show concerns about the minimization of consumption and its quality.
