Abstract

The Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), in September 2015, started a project focused on the implementation of the Electronic Information System (SEI), Software that aims to manage all administrative documentation of the Institution in virtual environment. This article analyzes the application and feasibility of implementing this system at the Center for Sustainable Development of the Semiarid (CDSA) of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), from the perception of its operators. Through a qualitative and descriptive study, the article identifies the experiences lived in the Campus administrative routine with the use of the system, in order to analyze how the quality of the system is captured, which can be seen as a tool linked to the Efficiency and Modernization of Public Administration. Finally, it presents an evaluation on the implementation of the Electronic Information System (SEI), in the Center of Sustainable Development of the Semiarid (CDSA), where most of the criteria listed in the research obtained satisfactory score, demonstrating that the Electronic Information System (SEI) is well evaluated by operators, which provides advantages and strategic gains in the production process.
