| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Este sistema reproduz o procedimento do oftalmologista na identificação das síndromes que afetam os olhos. São informados ao sistema os sinais oculares apresentados pelo paciente, a partir dos quais é feita uma pré- seleção das síndromes que incluem esses sinais, exibidas na ordem decrescente do grau de confiança que o sistema lhes atribui. Há a opção, para o médico, de perseguir qualquer das hipóteses. Nesta etapa, o sistema passa a pesquisar a existência dos sinais orgânicos gerais correspondentes a síndrome em questão. Com base neste conjunto de sintomas o diagnóstico é emitido. OFTALMO um sistema especialista baseado em regras, emprega o esquema de controle backward chaining, fornece explicações sobre o processo de raciocínio e é implementado em Prolog. |
| Abstract: | This system reproduces the ophthalmologist's procedure in identifying the syndromes that affect the eyes. The patient is presented with eye signals from which the syndromes including these signals are pre-selected and displayed in descending order of the degree of confidence that the system gives them. There is the option for the doctor to pursue either hypothesis. At this stage, the system investigates the existence of the general organic signs corresponding to the syndrome in question. Based on this set of symptoms the diagnosis is issued. A rule-based expert system employs the backward chaining control scheme, provides explanations of the reasoning process and is implemented in Prolog. |
