Variações lexicais do português brasileiro: uma análise do livro didático do 6º ano do ensino fundamental II.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the textbook Português Linguagens, by Willian Roberto Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães, used in the 6th year of elementary school II, regarding lexical variations. We reflect on the history of the Portuguese Language and its mother language: Latin. We have as general objective the analysis of lexicon variations by means of the didactic book as a research instrument. And for specific purposes, they are: to elucidate from the historical context the linguistic variations; to verify if the history of the Portuguese language was contemplated in the textbook; and also verify in which context the textbook addresses lexical variation. We deepened our knowledge on the evolution and the historical context in which the change from Latin to Galician-Portuguese and later, Portuguese Language, occurred and how it happened. This study arises within the relevance of verbal language, since it is found among the most important interactional media current in the world, and without it there is no plausible communication between peoples. Consequently, according to our reflections and the object we have pursued, we have been able to significantly broaden our linguistic understanding and of the possible readers who venture into this reading. This research, therefore, is classified as a bibliographic research, descriptive of qualitative analysis. The authors consulted were Jonas Teyssier (2001), Ilare (2006), Castilho (2009), Coutinho (2011) and others. From the analysis of chapter III of the aforementioned book, it can be affirmed that the authors superficially approach the historical context of the evolution of the different languages. Although the students already have little knowledge about the history of LP, the book analyzed presents little historical aspects of it, leaving vast gaps between happenings over time so that we arrived at our language nowadays.
