| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | O objetivo deste trabalho é fazer uma análise comparativa entre duas traduções do conto ―The Black Cat‖ (―O gato preto‖), de Edgar Allan Poe: a tradução de William Lagos, publicada em 2002 pela editora L&PM, e a adaptação de Clarice Lispector, publicada em 1975 pela Ediouro. Neste trabalho, são destacadas a diferenças entre tradução e adaptação. Para isto, me fundamento no aparato teórico de estudiosos como Amorim (2005), Johnson (1984), Monteiro (2001) dentre outros. Na análise comparativa do corpus selecionado, levo em consideração as escolhas de cada tradutor, revelando pontos de divergência entre tradução e adaptação, como omissões, acréscimos, simplificações, inversões e condensação de parágrafos |
| Abstract: | The objective of this work is to make a comparative analysis between two translations of the short story "The Black Cat", Edgar Allan Poe: the translation of William Lagos, published in 2002 by publisher L & PM, and the adaptation of Clarice Lispector, published in 1975 by Ediouro. In this work, the differences between translation and adaptation are highlighted. For this, I ground the theoretical apparatus of scholars such as Amorim (2005), Johnson (1984), Miller (2001) among others. In the comparative analysis of the selected corpus, take into account the choices of each translator, revealing points of difference between translation and adaptation, as omissions, additions, simplifications, inversions and condensation paragraphs. |
