A poética dos resíduos da Cinderela do lixo: Carolina Maria de Jesus em seu quarto despejo.

Abstract

The literature brings studies that provide a better understanding of the phenomena linked to the human condition. The work of Carolina Maria de Jesus, Quarto de despejo, was used in this study as an object of knowledge in the corpus of the research to understand the phenomenon of hunger, from the perspective of the Food and Nutrition Security. To achieve the objective of this research, a full reading of the work was carried out and as well as the development of a digital file that subsidized the subsequent data analysis. The survey data were analyzed according to Bardin's content analysis technique that consisted of three stages: pre-analysis, material exploration and processing of data, inferences and interpretations. The results found in the investigation were organized into four topics of analysis: (1) hunger is treated as a social inequity, being unveiled through the Violation of the Human Right to Adequate Food and the products of this lack of regime; (2) the table of the slum can be characterized by times of abundance and scarcity, where food means ways of survival; (3) the writing works as a mechanism for producing a poetic dignity in the context of hunger, (4) eat, drink up, we live in an unhealthy space: the slum storage room of humanity. It is believed to reflect on this phenomenon enables entering in a dense imagery of meanings that go beyond objective interpretations. By the caroliana writing, it is understandable how people, in food insecurity situations, understand, face and resolve this problem. Therefore, it is clearly seen the importance of forming nutritionists with an enlarged look on the act of feeding, especially in contexts of social injustices.
