???metadata.dc.description.resumo???:	A proposta de trabalho aqui apresentada busca analisar as transformações urbano-espaciais da cidade de Pombal no período que vai de 1970 a 2010, e tem como objeto de estudo os referenciais urbanísticos: ruas, praças, casarios e as vivências dos habitantes da cidade. O objetivo geral é investigar o que ao longo do tempo vem modificando esses referenciais e qual o impacto disso na vida das pessoas, além do significado que venha ter para a historiografia local e os estudos sobre Cidades. As fontes iconográficas (imagens), documentais e orais serão utilizadas neste trabalho com o intuito de problematizar as modificações urbanas e os significados dadas a elas dentro do recorte estabelecido. Além disso, as discussões teóricas serão feitas a partir de Walter Benjamin (1989), Maria Stella Bressciani (1991; 2013), Maurice Halbwachs (1990), Henri Lefebvre (1999), Bernard Lepetit (2001), Flávio Carreiro (2016), a fim de compreender esta Pombal moderna e seu panorama urbano.
Abstract:	The purpose of this study is to analyze the urban-spatial transformations of the city of Pombal in the period from 1970 to 2010, and its object is to study the urban references: streets, squares, houses and the experiences of the inhabitants of the city. The general objective is to investigate what has changed these references over time and what impact it has had on people's lives, as well as the significance of local historiography and studies on cities. The iconographic (images), documentary and oral sources will be used in this work with the intention of problematizing the urban modifications and the meanings given to them within the established cut. In addition, the theoretical discussions will be made from Walter Benjamin (1989), Maria Stella Bressciani (1991, 2013), Maurice Halbwachs (1990), Henri Lefebvre (1999), Bernard Lepetit (2001), Flávio Carreiro (2016), in order to understand this modern Pombal and its urban panorama.
