Teatro e ensino de geografia: uma proposta metodológica de ensino - aprendizagem na produção do espaço pela família.

Abstract

This paper results of undergraduate research in the area of research in geography education developed in the Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Teacher Training Center (CFP), the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), during the 03 / 11 to 19/12/2014, lasting 15 lessons with the class of 2nd year B of high school at the State School Professor "Crispin Rabbit", in the municipality of Cajazeiras, Paraíba mesoregion the Hinterland. Investigate how the theatrical language constitutes one of the teaching-learning methodologies for approaching this topic, theater and teaching Geography: a methodology of teaching and learning in the production of space for the family. The importance of this language, theater, justified by the need to use different languages in the teaching of geography, such as cartography, cinema, music and theater, one of the oldest and cultural events attended by millions of people. Thus, we seek to present theater as an educational tool in teaching Geography as an aid in the teaching-learning process and in understanding the production of geographical space for the family, in capitalist society and the world of work. From a dialectical analysis associate the methodology guided by: literature review, field and documentary. In addition to these, the observation, the semi-structured interviews, text production, theatrical art, use of field notebook, photographic record and systematization of field information. The survey results showed that during the initial observation the geography classes, as well as interviews of the students said that the geography teaching in this school shown decontextualized from the realities of school subjects, and through the use of theatrical art language learners felt -If more motivated in class and more interest in geographical, stating that these are significant when contextualize their realities.
