Políticas públicas de inclusão educacional da pessoa com deficiência: uma análise da Lei nº 2.557/2015 que institui o Plano Municipal de Educação no município de Sousa - Paraíba.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the Municipal education plan in the city of Sousa, Municipal Law n. 2.577/2015 In the light of the provisions of the Statute for the Person with Disability. Education seen as a fundamental human right from its contemporary conception of universality, indivisibility and interdependence with each other to guarantee human dignity. This is a qualitative research based on a bibliographic and documental approach in a descriptive perspective in which seeks to develop the study to define education as a fundamental human right from international documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights making a temporal cut in the right to education in the Brazilian legal system. We will bring a historical perspective on special education in Brazil and its nuances bringing the concepts of exclusion, segregation, integration and inclusion of students with disabilities, pointing out the scope of the statute for the Person with Disability and its influence on other Branches of law. In this way, is analyzed the Municipal education plan of Sousa and the public policies proposed for the education of the next ten years from an inclusive perspective proposed in the Statute.
