???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: A histerectomia consiste da retirada definitiva do útero, sendo atualmente considerada a segunda cirurgia mais realizada em mulheres em idade fértil. Entretanto, este procedimento desencadeia nas mulheres além das mudanças relacionadas ao fator fisiológico, alterações na sua vida sexual, emocional e social. Isto ocorre devido aos valores simbólico-culturais gerados em tornos do útero. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar as concepções e vivências das mulheres histerectomizadas, e como objetivo específico descrever as vivências sexuais e reprodutivas dessas mulheres, apresentar as respostas psicoemocionais das mulheres antes e depois da realização da histerectomia e verificar as percepções dos profissionais de enfermagem no atendimento as mulheres histerectomizadas. Caracteriza-se por um estudo de natureza exploratório-descritivo, com uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizando um questionário semi-estruturado, que foi respondido de forma oralmente, porém, transcrita a próprio punho pelo pesquisador. O estudo ocorreu nas áreas de abrangência da Unidade Básica de Saúde São José/PAPS no município de Cajazeiras/ PB. Participaram desse estudo 15 mulheres que haviam se submetido à histerectomia. Logo após a entrevista, os dados foram transcritos e analisado seguindo a proposta do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. De acordo com resultados obtidos foi possível perceber que a realização da histerectomia proporciona sentimentos de medo quanto à perda da feminilidade, mobilizando sentimentos de insegurança e temor, desencadeando respostas emocionais que afetam as relações com o parceiro e com a família. Porém foi visto que após a realização do procedimento a grande maioria das entrevistadas alterou a sua percepção diante da histerectomia, avaliando como um ponto positivo para a sua vida. Conclui-se que de modo geral, as percepções das mulheres diante da histerectomia foram substituídas a partir das suas vivências, não ancorando os seus pensamentos e comportamentos diante dos mitos e tabus e sim no bem-estar readquirido após terem vivenciado o processo cirúrgico.
Abstract: Hysterectomy is the consists of removal of the uterus, and is now considered the second most frequently performed surgery in women of childbearing age. However, this procedure triggers in women beyond the changes related to physiological factors, changes in your sex life, emotional and social. This is due to the symbolic and cultural values generated on turning the uterus. This study aimed to examine the conceptions and experiences of women who had undergone hysterectomyand, how specific goal describe sexual and reproductive experiences of these women, provide psycho-emotional responses of women before and after the completion of hysterectomy and verify the perceptions of nursing care in women hysterectomized. It is characterized by a study of exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach using a semi-structured questionnaire, which was responded orally, however, transcribed handwritten by the researcher. The study took place in the areas covered by the Basic Health Unit St. Joseph / PAPS in the city of Cajazeiras / PB. Participated in the study 15 women who had undergone hysterectomy. Right after the interview, the data were transcribed and analyzed following the proposal of the Collective Subject Discourse. According to the results we see that the performance of hysterectomy provides feelings of fear about loss of femininity, mobilizing feelings of insecurity and fear, provoking emotional responses that affect the relationship with the partner and family. Nevertheless that was seen after the procedure the majority of the interviewees changed their perception in the face of hysterectomy, evaluating as a positive point in your life. To conclude, in general, women's perceptions in front of hysterectomy were replaced from their experiences, not harboring your thoughts and behaviors on the myths and taboos, but the wellbeing reacquired after having experienced the surgical process.
