???metadata.dc.description.resumo???:	A prática da leitura pode ser uma atividade decisiva na vida do ser humano, tendo início desde os primeiros anos de escolaridade da criança, o que servirá como base para a formação escolar do indivíduo. Em meio a isto se faz necessário que a leitura seja uma praticada cotidianamente pela criança, desde os Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. O ato de ler deve ser refletido e a partir de então deve haver um aprofundamento de acordo com o nível de aprendizagem que a criança se encontra, constituindo assim um espaço propício para o desenvolvimento intelectual da mesma. Quanto mais cedo a criança tiver contato com a leitura, mais chances ela terá de se tornar uma excelente leitora e escritora. Nesta perspectiva, o presente estudo surgiu mediante a necessidade de entender e buscar respostas para a questão de como se dá a prática de ensino da leitura nos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. A pesquisa foi feita numa turma de 2° ano do Ensino Fundamental, numa escola pública, localizada na cidade de Bernardino Batista-PB.Ao longo do estudo procurei investigar a respeito de como acontece o ensino da leitura em uma sala de aula e quais as estratégias utilizadas pelo professor para estimular os alunos no desenvolvimento das habilidades de leitura.O estudo teve como objetivos: identificar através de observações as atividades de leituras que chamam a atenção dos alunos; mapear que tipos de texto o professor trabalha em sala de aula; observar as estratégias utilizadas pelo professor para explorar a oralidade das crianças e caracterizar a relação que os alunos têm com a leitura. A metodologia utilizada foi pesquisa qualitativa, de campo. Como instrumento de coleta de dados, utilizei a observação duranteuma semana em sala e entrevistas escrita com a professora regente e quatro alunos desta tunna.Assim, o estudo realizado chegou a alguns resultados, dentre eles, que,na semana de observação, a professora trabalhou gêneros textuais, como poemas, músicas e outros textos para aprofundamento do estudo ortográfico. Dentre as atividades de leitura que observei, constatei que as crianças demonstraram mais interesse na leitura de contos de fada. Os textos que a escola disponibiliza são aqueles contidos nos livros didáticos e não tem uma sala de leitura, apenas uma estante com alguns livros na sala de informática e vídeos.De acordo com as respostas dadas pela professora que entrevistei percebe-se que ela valoriza a leitura como fonte de informação indispensável à vida das pessoas, não somente no ambiente escolar, mas em todo o meio social.
Abstract:	The present study it appeared by means of the necessity to understand and to search answers for a question that sufficiently inquietou me in relation to the education of the reading in the initial years of basic education. The research was made in a group of 2° year of Basic Ensign nomad school public, located in the city of Bernardino Baptist. ln this study my intention was to analyze the practical one of the education of the reading in the initial series.Throughout the study I looked for to investigate regarding as the leaming of the reading in a classroom happens and which the strategies used for the professor to stimulate the pupils in the development of the reading abilities.The study it had as objective: to identify through comments the activities of readings that call the attention the pupils; to mapear that types of text the professor works in classroom; e to observe the strategies used for the professor to explore the orality of the children. The used methodology was the qualitative and bibliographical research. ln utmost, the practical one of the reading can be a decisive activity in the life of the human being, having beginning since the first years of escolaridade of the child, what it will serve as base for the pertaining to school formation of the individual. ln way to this if it makes necessary that the reading has a constant space in the daily pertaining to school of the child, since the initial years of Basic Ensign for this, the act to read must he reflected and from now on it must in agreement have a deepening with the leaming levei that the child presents, thus constituting a propitious space for the intellectual development of the same one. As well as, it is a fonn to stimulate the taste of the child for the reading, therefore as she was mentioned, the more early the child will have contact with the reading, more possibilities it will have of if becoming an excellent reader and good writer. As instrument of collection of data, I used the comment per one week in room and interviews written with the teacher regent and four pupils of this group.
