Résumé:
In relation to work contents not of Marine Biology in inner regions of Northeast of Brazil is a challenging task. The present study aimed to work construction and implementation of educational games about marine invertebrates at Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Elça de Carvalho da Fonseca, in the city of Cuité -PB. Two classes of secondary school were worked (7th grade A and C), totaling 32 students for the study. After presenting the design and initial contact with students, a semi-structured questionnaire on educational content of Marine Biology was applied. Then, students attended exhibition and demonstration lessons, eventually participating in a practical classroom teaching through a didatic play. After the didactic intervention, another questionnaire was applied to the same initial students. In a comparative approach, there was an increase in the percentage of students who exhibited correct knowledge about Marine Biology, where before intervention 87.5 % thought the beach an important environment and then (after) the number was 93.75 %. The amount of errors as to questions of content area fell from 80 to 35. It can be noticed that the educational games have to be added and that the teacher may do well beyond the classroom, seeking greater leverage and interest of students.
