Résumé:
The present work was developed to give continuity to the studies with alternatives concretes,
analyzing thr feasibility of granitic aggregate substitution for unconventional aggregates, as lateritic
concretions and lime stones, to fabricate Portland Cement Concrete, with structural purpose.
In this thesis, were evaluated the instataneous and long term deformations in beams and
prefabricated slabes of alternatives concretes, comparing theses results with beams and prefabricated
slabes of granitic concret results. The experimental results were still compared with theoretical
values proposed by ABNT, Brasilian Technique Code Association, and CEB, Committee Euro-
International for Concrete.
The results permited to conclude that in spite of beams and prefabricated slabes of lateritic
and lime concrete be more deformable than granitic concrete ones, the values for servises loads
satisfy the Utilization Limites States for excessive deformation. The maximum deflections obtained
for long term shipment got about 40 % of admissible values, emphasizing the excellent performance
of theses materials on structural purpose concrete frabication.
