Obtain a relational schema normalized to a database designers goal. This enables greater confidence and independence during database upgrade. This paper presents a relational database design support tool that automates the process of normalizing relationships. The designer schematizes his application data according to a normalization-oriented model [Smith 85]. The tool finds possible redundancies in the initial modeling and issues information for their elimination [Bernstein 76] [Diederich -Milton 88]. Next is provided a resultant relational scheme normalized in 5 "normal form, containing automatic key design and identification of the natural joins in this scheme.
