Resumo:
The process of rapid solidification Melt-Spinning and Inrowasp (In Rotating
Water Spinning Process) were used in obtaining alloys with amorphous structures in
ribbon and wire shapes in the follow compositions on atomic content Fe75Siio(Bi.xCx)i5
with the x varying from 0 to 0,8, by a rate of 0,2. The ribbons obtaneid as a resulting
product from the Melt-Spinning process, were structurely characterized by X-Ray
Difraction and Diferencial Thermal Analysis (DTA) in order to study the thermal
stability. The wires obtaneid from Inrowasp process, were tested by the 180° bending
test, which was used as a selective type test, characterizing the wire ductility.
Using the Melt-Spinning process, it was possible to obtain 38,89% of ductile
ribbons within a total number of 36 tests, while the inrowasp process revealed ductile
wires only in 11,76% within a total number of 85 tests.
