This thesis aims to analyze the inventive practices of the marketers in the “feira central” in Campina Grande-PB city, through the observation of the styles of use and forms of sociability built by the marketers. In this work, I present the tissue of the “Feira Central” sewing its streets, characters and the local sociability, thus to achieve this goal, I utilized an ethnographic and qualitative methodology, developed in a direct and participative observation in field, performed in alternated days of week and different times, as well as the semi-structured interviews applied to a group of marketers from different spots, where I aimed to identify their routines and their inventive practices. The results achieved in this study showed that the figure of the marketer in the daily life of the fair it is comprehended as a “place of meaning”. The characters who transit there (the marketer, the subject that inhabits, strolls or made other uses), awakes a social identification and localization in the world. Through material and symbolic ways, the marketers which are concentrated there from Monday to Saturday, are mobilizing routinely the vivacity of the place among exchanges of sociability, practices and knowledges.
