Resumen:
This research work aims at a comparative study of the constant current
density and constant voltage electrode models in terms of accuracy and
computational effort.
Another objective of this work is to study and implement the modified
matrix method, to simulate grounding grids. This method is supposed to require
less computational effort and to provide accuracy, in order to promote the study
of complex grids. The modified matrix method derives from the modified
summation method in conjunction with the constant voltage model.
The uniform soil model will be applied. Another project is being
developedin parallel under the same guidance. The two two layer model is used,
but current distribution is considered to be uniform, third project may bring
together the results which are being obtained at the present.
The developed computational procedures will be applied, in their
ultimate version to the study of the grounding grid from Boa Vista substation
which belongs to CELB - Companhia de eletricidade da Borborema, Campina
Grande, Estado da Paraiba.
