A mídia impressa (“O Jornal Mural”) no ensino de geografia: um estudo de caso no 8º ano do ensino fundamental II da E.E.E.F. Santa Maria Gorete .

Abstract

This monograph aims to analyze the possibilities of using the information in the printed newspaper as a methodological reference for the construction of geographical knowledge in the classroom. The same discussed the importance of media resources, its influence in the classroom and its possibilities, trying to understand the process of incorporation and use in the teaching of geography, because since the construction of the news until the arrival of the same to the receiver, it is influenced by several mediations, each agent uses its own views of the world, however it is the mediation of the teacher responsible for the construction of knowledge from a interdiscourse with this language in the media. This analysis undertaken was done through the use of questionnaires and reports the experience of the "wall newspaper" developed with the students of 8th grade "C" of the State Elementary School Santa Maria Gorete, located in São José de Piranhas-PB and the results obtained through this educational practice. Dialoguing with the results we can see that being the process of teaching learning something dynamic that is constantly changing it is necessary to him incorporate new features, the insertion of the printed newspaper in geography classes enables there is an approach students of reality in which they are part and assists them in understanding the production of space on different scales, promoting the construction of geographical knowledge.
