Abstract:
With these transformations taking place in the educational context, the democratic
school management has been highlighted because every day it innovates in a growing
process of evolution, in view of the organizational development of the school and
everyone in it are inserted. The choice of study was due to the unrest in researching
Practice Management School at Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental Profª
Frassinete Bernardo, at São João do Rio do Peixe, Paraíba, in view of the need for a
critical reflection about one of management practices prevailing in this city and as
educational agents embedded in the school to realize and understand.This is a
qualitative research study conducted with the subjects that make up the administrative
and pedagogical school, the administrative sector, represented by the manager, vice
manager, secretary, educational coordinator and three teachers.The analysis obtained
through the data collection took place from systematic observation and
questionnaires.The verification it was found that the subjects have a basic understanding
of democratic management and its importance in teaching learning process.It was also
found that those participating in the administrative process through the school choice
decisions.This research aims to show the importance of democratic management in the
administrative process of the school and its contributions to quality education.
