Résumé:
The relationship between teacher and students is understood as an integretor and necessary
aspect to the educational development of learners. It also motivates studies to its
understanding. This study aims to analyse the relevance of teacher/ students' relationship on
the teaching learning process in a group of students from the 4th grade of elementary school
at Sousa/PB. This work has as theoretical support the discussion made by some experts such
as: Antunes (2010), Brazil (s.d), Freire (2005), Martins (2010), Müller (2002), Padua (2010),
Rossini (2010), Simka [et. Al] (2010), Vasconcelos (2012), Werneck (2004). The procedures
used was the observation questionnare and forms. The results collected on this study is
divided into two chapters: the first one deals with the teacher's point of view regarding to the
theme; the second deals with the student's perception concerning to the teacher, the classroom
and school as a whole. The results have revealed that the subjects highlight the relationship
between teacher and students. This research, therefore, stresses that education has a great
influence and its also can significantly contribute to humanity.
